☆☆☆
Gene String: N/A.
Appearance:
Small in stature and big in ears, Doeskip is a lithe molly that is the definition of petite. Her dainty paws, slim tail and compact shoulders make it easy for the young medicine cat to leap to and from the rabbit warrens that are littered around the territory. Her oddly large ears help her cool down during the summer when the evenings are hot - but they tend to lead her to a regular sniffle during winter when the wind is biting. Her eyes are a deep shade of green which stand out a striking amongst against her muddy blonde fur. With paws that seem like they were dipped in mud and her back a striking sand colour that borders on white - Doeskip can be quite the shocking site to see after a battle as she shoulders her way through built warriors.
Personality
Please list at least three positive and three negative traits for your character below.
Positive Traits: • Caring • Firm • Motherly | Negative Traits: • Demanding • Snappy • Easily bored |
Personality:
Never let anyone tricking you into thinking that Doeskip doesn't adore her new found family. An outsider may peer into the happenings of Gorseclan and watch as the apprentice sized molly orders warriors around with a snap out her teeth and a bristling of her tail. They would watch as Doeskip demands more herb patrols from Aspenstar (which is often unneeded and doesn't occur), relentlessly tease the new apprentices that come to her with aching muscles and the sheathed-claw swipes she takes at a Warrior that was behaving particularly stupidly.
However, what they wouldn't see is Doeskip regularly ensuring her patients are comfortable in their nests. They wouldn't see her staying up until early morning with a warrior that seems to be more lethargic than usual. It isn't an unusual site for Doeskip to be dragging a cat to her den because she noticed they were acting weirdly or in pain. The fiery molly refuses to let injuries slip under her nose and feels as though she has too much to prove so, if a cat were to die from a small infection, she would feel like her entire duty was crushed and disregarded in that single moment.
Doeskip treats the Clan as though they were all her young kits and she's the stubborn but fairly harsh mother.

Character Background
History:
Born into a barn and taught the ways of surviving as a young kit, Doeskip (known as Doe) has faced her fair share of struggles. Rats, barn fires, droughts and much more – Doeskip never had a particularly easy life but she knew no better - when the rogues begun to settle into the valley just beyond her barn, Doeskip ventured out in the search for a better life.
However, she got the opposite.
Thrown into the life of harsh rouges, fighting for food and festering wounds – Doeskip was quick on her paws to teach herself as much about herbs as possible. As crude as it may have been at the time, she often tested herbs on those within the rouge groups in order to figure out what would work and what wouldn’t. Though her knowledge was far from that of a medicine cat, it eventually became common place for the young to come to her with their wounds. Doeskip, by that point, had become numb to seeing injuries and the malnourished forms around her. She continued to tend to wounds with the repayment being food. Her mind wondering to lives that the rouge group could have been. It could have been a strong group, untouched by two-legs and prospering. But, instead, it was scrappy and dirty.
When the cats with stars gleaming within their pelts visited her and handed over their herbal knowledge, Doeskip was left unaffected as the Clan cats swarmed over the hills and declared the land their own. She silently switched sides and watched impassively as the cats she knew fled, joined or died by the paws of newcomers. Doeskip, at heart, is motherly. But with the life she has led, the small, sandy she-cat struggles to express it properly and can often times come across as harsh and unfair in moments where compassion is needed.
